My self and another party both have on 'Send Read Receipt' for each other. When I send that person a message, it will not show that they read the message until they start to reply. They can fully open and read the text but it will not show that the message is read on my phone. Once the person begins typing to reply, the message receipt will switch from 'Delivered' to 'Read'. The time that it shows Read is the time they start the reply and not the time it was actually read. While wearing my Apple Watch, which is on WatchOS 3 beta 2, it will show the correct time the message was read while the iPhone will not.
Anyone else experiencing this issue?
