When I go to Settings / iCloud, my AppleID is there, but when I tap the disclosure triangle/icon (>), iOS asks me my to "Sign in with Apple ID" (i.e., enter password for my Apple ID).I enter the password but get the error message/alert:
Title: Verification Failed
Message: An unknown error occurred
Buttons: Cancel / Try Again
I tried updating my password at MyAppleID, to no effect.
I have 2-step verification enabled.
Addendum: I can successfully logout and login back again into "iTunes & AppStore".
Same here, only that I don't have 2-step verification.
Unfortunatly, it seems like iCloud based services don't work properly (Photos and Backup) because of that.
I have a similar problem, but the iCloud preference pane hangs forever and must be killed. When restarted it hangs again.
I was wondering if there was a way to sign out of iCloud using command line?
