In the current Catalina build (10.15 Beta 19A558d) I can no longer drag & drop. Neither in Finder nor anythere else. There is simply no reaction. In list views I get multiselect instead.
In the console I see:

I tried the magic mouse and a standard usb mouse. Both working fine with Mojave. I already filed a Radar.
Does anyone else has this problem or a work-around?
I solved it by completely reinstalling Catalina from scratch. Now everything is fine again.
This is happening to me as well. I also cannot open any files on my desktop, nor copy any of those files to another location. My machine is basically bricked.

Same issue for me… on a MacBook Pro 2016 w/TouchBar. Catalina installed on an external SSD.
Same issue here. It happens in other apps too. Attempting to drag in Chrome will make the tab unresponsive and produces the same error in Console.
