App installation failed

I recently joined the paid Apple developer program 99$/year.

although I have a paid account I still have this error in Xcode when I try to install more than 3 apps in my device:

The maximum number of apps for free development profiles has been reached.

So, is there some kind of account activation that I still have to do in Xcode?

I'm signing in in Xcode with the same account that I have used in signing up in apple developer program.

Did you use the same appleID for both free provisioning and your new paid dev account?


If so, that can lead to such issues (you should've use a new unique appleID for paid), typically requiring you to contact support for their help in untangling.
