Why do I have an admob revenue of 0$, despite ads being shown in the TestFlight version of my app?

Hi there community: I am planning to send the app to apple for their review process. I t seems that everything works fine and my beta testers play my game regularly and admob ads are being shown successfully. I do have clicks and a fillrate but I wonder, why there hasn't been even 0.01$ of revenue. My question is, wether it is usual to see no revenue while in beta testing, even though real ads are being displayed. Will I start to see a revenue after sending the app to apple to do their review and publish it ofiicially in the app store (maybe because they want their 30% cut)? Thank yu very much.

Unless something has changed, Apple only retains 30% of app and iAP sales. Admob is 3rd. party and Apple doesn't participate in 3rd party revenue schemes.


My guess in your TF example is that while live admob ads might be displayed, google disables revenue to protect against fraud, etc.
