Battery Life

How is everyone's battery life doing on macOS Mojave? Google Chrome and Spotlight seem to be absolutely draining my MacBook Pro 2014's battery life. According to Activity Monitor the time on battery was 2 hours and 18 minutes and during that time, my battery went from 100% to 40%. Obviously a beta, especially the first beta, is going to drain your battery with all the background activities going on, but I am curious on how everyone else's laptops are doing.

I unplugged my 2013 Macbook Pro about 10 minutes ago, and I'm already down to 90%, which is not normal. Safari seems to be the culprit.


Edit: I turned off analytics reporting and it seems to have solved the problem.
