10.13.5 Input devices stop responding

Having an issue that just started with build 17F70a. It's happening on both my 2016-13" MBP and 2017- 27" Retina iMac. The problem has only started since this update was installed on the 14th, it did not manifest on the earlier builds.


It seems that the computer stops responding to all input devices whether it's the built in keyboard or trackpad on the MBP, or external bluetooth keyboard and/or mouse on the MBP or iMac. At first I was forcing reboots because I thought the whole computer had locked up but I'm now starting to find that if I'm a little more patient and keep clicking and tapping on things they eventually come back on line and respond normally. I haven't found any specific pattern that triggers it but it's manifesting in exactly the same way on both computers, both running the same built.
