Documents in the cloud + VM

Hello, is it just me or someone else who have not active Documents to the cloud because macOS put my 2 VM in to it? and I can't just say this is not a documents. Because I have to download it every time I used it. So it well be cool to have a check bock and tell iCloud this is not a document and don't upload it to iCloud.
