I'm having trouble pinning this down. Application crashes and quits when hitting print in dialogue box. This is true across several applications and file types. I've tried exporting to pdf and printing in Preview with same result.
Sequoia Printing Issue
Can you provide more information about the sequence of calls you are making to print? Do you have any crash logs you can share?
Sure. I just tried printing an email out of the mail app. It crashed. Here is the crash report attached:
I'm having the same issues here. It doesn't matter what application I use - I can't print PDFs
Despite reinstalling drivers and trying to use lpr instead of a browser, acrobat, and system print dialog. All result in a "Filter failed" message in the print queue. The scan function works though. Workaround: convert pdf to a png images or other image, then print.

An HP DeskJet 3700 that I have tested, does not function at the print command, although it printer status is "ready".
HP have suggested that there is a baud rate problem.
