CLHeading in VisionOS

Thanks for your question. Could you provide more information on what you are attempting to accomplish? I'm curious if CLHeading is the solution for your use case or if there's another API that can fit your needs. What kinda application are you building?

Think about an app like step-by-step walking directions to a location. It would require location which is retrieved via the tethering to the iPhone (which I wish we had more info about how that works), and heading to detect the direction the user is looking at. This isn't exactly what I am trying to build but it encounters the same issue.

@Vision Pro Engineer Is there an update to this? Android XR got announced and they have support for something like this but visionOS does not.

There's no supported way for you to retrieve the device's heading with the APIs currently available. If you'd like us to consider adding the necessary functionality, please file an enhancement request using Feedback Assistant. Once you file the request, please post the FB number here.
