Does Apple have any immediate plans to resolve the problem of Twinmotion's path tracer not working on their devices?

You cannot know from Apple if there is a short term plan or even a plan.
But it seems to be more an unreal engine issue, not implementing for Mac, than a Mac problem. You should ask them.

Yes, I've seen the irender option. Having spent £5000 on a fully loaded Macbook pro, over £2000 on my Vectorworks modelling software, not to mention the money I've paid for Twinmotion and I still can't get an image out without subscribing to a third party. To be honest, when you pay top money for top hardware it should be able to cater for ANY graphics based software.
