Unreal Engine 5 to Apple Vision Pro

Anyone out there incorporate UE5 assets into their app yet? Epic will be offering support for the full immersion style, which is so rad.

It’s happening!!

  • Ahhh, that's cool! Assuming you have UE5.4 preview? What kind of scene did you port to visionOS??

visionOS platform support has been added to Unreal Engine 5.5 on main branch on GitHub!!

That's awesome. Can this be embedded into a native Swift UI app? We moved away from Unity for visionOS, due to the licensing desaster, but would love to integrate a game engine into our app if possible. Reality Composer Pro is pretty limited.

  • @waldgeist Wait for the official release of UE 5.4 later this month to get the plugin. Assuming it will be easier to integrate vs now via UE 5.4 preview. Cool to see other visionOS devs out there wanting to implement UE and not Unity. Unity is on a nose dive to crap, highly recommend not using that product. Add me on Discord and we can chat visionOS dev stuff. meta_merritt
