After installing the beta and trying to use the vision os 1 beta 4, it is not an option in the simulator, so I then went and tried to create a new simulator, it allowed me to select the vision pro from the list, when I click create, it doesn't create the simulator. I am using the downloaded vision pro beta that installs with 15.1 beta and in the simulator it only has iOS 17.0 and Watch 10 entries and it is not possible to create an entry for the vision pro, I have tried to start over several times, rebooted several times. My MacOS is Sonoma 14, running Xcode 15.1 Beta with vision OS 1 beta 4, what am I missing or how can I get the vision pro simulator to actually show and work?

Intel or Apple silicon?
Believe it or not, this is relevant - Apple recently removed forcibly the option to use VisionOS simulator from Intel-based Macs, because "Developing for visionOS requires a Mac with Apple silicon". If that is your case, this might also be relevant to you: https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/739277
