I am using the latest version of Xcode 15 beta 4 running on Intel iMac 2017.
Even though I have selected Vision Pro as platform and simulator, it does not appeared. Does the simulator works on Intel?

Tested beta 5, same.
Xcode Beta 5 and the associated VisionOS simulator run on my Intel-based 2019 MacBook Pro, though it is quite a bit slower than on my M2-based Mac Mini. In case it matters, I am running macOS Sonoma Beta 3 on my MBP.
Thanks, after repeated testing, I can get Vision Pro simulator finally appear on my iMac 2017! However:
first time I try, the UI is black and later appeared glitchy.2nd time I try, the UI shows up but app takes a very long time to load.I have to give up doing Vision Pro development on Intel Mac for now.
@Hamletlere I am trying to use the simulator on an Intel MacBook Pro 2019 as well, but since upgrading the MacBook to macOS Sonoma, it won't work anymore. Can you confirm it still works on Sonoma release version for you?
Yeah this is sad and unfortunate. MacBooks of these years and specs should not be subject to being left behind
Guess that answers your question [I am using the latest version of Xcode 15 beta 4 running on Intel iMac 2017.] Note -> Developing for visionOS requires a Mac with Apple silicon https://developer.apple.com/documentation/visionos/creating-your-first-visionos-app#Overview
So, if I want to get into Vision, I need tho buy new gear
