Is apple U1 interoperable with Android phones？

Hello everyone! I want to get distance information between an iphone12 and an android phone that supports UWB. I want to know that is the apple U1 chip is interoperable with Android devices, e.g., Google Pixel 6?

seems not possible, in order to operate with third party accessory, there are some flow and data exchange between U1 and third party UWB, unless you can control the Android UWB, there is no way to do ranging
