"Guided access app unavailable" alert prompt for iPad kiosk app

Hi,


We have an app that is run in kiosk. We configure the app to run in single app mode using apple configurator.


Device: iPad Pro (9.7 inch)

OS: iOS 10.2


The app was installed 3 weeks ago and suddenly, the app becomes unusable and an error alert popped up


"Guided access app unavailable. Please contact your administrator"

We couldn't find the source of this issue.


We've tried several approaches to reproduce this:


1. Forcing the app to crash but app just restarts automatically and we don't see this error even after 10-20 crashes.

2. Even if certificate used by apple configurator profile is expired, app continues to run fine in our test environment.


Can someone help in pointing out the potential reason for this issue?

Is this problem occured when you restart the device with guded access enabled ?

Since you posted this 3 month back, did you resolved this problem ?
