  • MacBookPro 2019 Intel,Connect one DELL displays

  • DELL P2317H

  • DELL U2419HS , have the same problem

Replies

I have the same issue. It's happening quite frequently (almost daily). To my knowledge, this happens only when the computer is connected to an external LG display. I have two different types of LG displays, and it happens with both.

I'm having the same issue. I was connected to an AOC external screen over HDMI. It happend when I was CMD+TAB to a different screen using the newly Stage Manager.

Seeing this on macOS 13.0.1 with external Dell P3421W.

Hi there,

You might have better luck asking this question over in Apple Support Communities run by Apple Support.

  • Apple support has no clue what is going on. They had me create a new profile, then **** away the system and start over. Was told to take it to an Apple Store so I did, but when they saw WindowServer, 3 of them agreed it was a Microsoft problem and to contact them. Even after running commands on the terminal providing details level 2 support responded I am talking over their head and no way to reach anyone above them. Hung up on me and closed the ticket. This problem has become such a nightmare.

The same problem over here; it keeps crashing on a daily basis. It all started with the update to macOS Ventura

This has suddenly started to happen with most apps for me as well. If I press some of my arrow keys or initialize a shortcut like cmd+v, it crashes the app. Affects 1st party apps like Safari, Feedback Assistant, Messages and 3rd party apps such as VMware Fusion, Minecraft Launcher, HandBrake.

Where can we report this to Apple so they would fix this? Makes my Mac unusable.

Same problem too :

Dear

Any solution to resolve this issue

same issue here

Same issue, Samsung U28R55* monitor. Does apple plan to fix this issue ?

  • Is it just with this monitor? I have 2 connected to my CalDigital dock. Replacing the monitor with a Dell 27', which I am liking better, but after removing HDMI at least my fan is not running 100MPH all day. But still getting WindowServer stopped responding after 120 secs.
