Exciting to see the new Medication tracking features coming to Health. As a medical app we're wondering if read/write access to these is coming to HealthKit?
We're currently building prescription management into our app so it would be great to be able to let users also add these to Health to handle their adherence tracking.
Glad you're excited about the new medication tracking feature in iOS 16! Right now there is no API to read or write data related to this new feature, but please do file an enhancement request via http://feedbackassistant.apple.com so we can review these requests.

I’m hoping this has been submitted as feedback already, but just in case, I submitted it today.
As far as I can tell, there has been no movement on this topic since it was opened, and Medications data is still unavailable through HealthKit API or even by exporting personal Health data as XML thru the app.
