I want to know how I can let my server know about who buys what consumables. I could make that call in my app but I thought it would be more secure if it came from Apple, since the only payment method I have set up is Apple Pay. So far from what I've seen, it doesn't look like Apple notifies servers about consumable purchases. Is that true?
Currently only refund requests/declines/approvals for consumable purchases are supported with Server Notifications - then intent of notifications are to provide signals for events that can occur outside of your app or serve a benefit of being informed server to server.
