Hi,

Situation:

I have a watch that I want to give to friend for testing. Therefore I put him in my family. I don't want that he has access to my data.

Goal: I want to deploy my Apple watch source code to the watch, give him the watch and he should test it.

Issue: Xcode does not find the watch.

Question: How can I deploy the Source code on the watch? The watch is still on my desk.

Unfortunately it's not possible to use Family Setup watches for development. Watches must be traditionally paired to an iPhone in order to connect them to Xcode.

Do you know if family share is possible together with Test flight?

Then he could access the app over test flight.
