Problem with Safari web browser (macOS Monterey)(M1)

I recently updated my macOS from Big Sur to Monterey.

  1. The first problem I noticed was that the battery was draining much faster than usual (maybe because Spotlight Search was indexing).
  2. Second, on searching in the new Safari browser, the search results didn't wholly load, and the cursor wasn't responding correctly when clicking/hovering over hyperlinks and buttons. Also, the search bar wasn't responding. The page components would appear for a millisecond and disappear on exiting the full screen. On maximizing, the same problem persisted. Reloading the page made no difference. And the Google search bar freezes (it isn't clickable).

And now I'm wishing if I could downgrade back to Big Sur. It was like everything was perfect, and then, after the update, everything was worse :(

As of now problem 1. does not exist! It was just that the battery drained for a couple of hours right after updating the operating system. But problem 2. continues to exist.

Hey. I´m sorry about that. Try to contact the apple support: [https://support.apple.com/de-de) or ask your device dealer.
