You must provide authorisation for this volume by setting it as your startup disk

I'm trying to install macOS Monterey on MacBook Air M1 but when I have to select the disk it asks for an authorisation. I tried everything (restarting and recovery mode) but I still can't give the authorisation to the disk. Anyone has the same problem? And does anyone know how to solve this?

Same issue, same machine - any solution?

Even after I shut down my computer to reset that as the device it doesnt work.

I had the same issue when I attempted to upgrade a MacBook Air M1 from Big Sur to Ventura. Then I upgrade it to Monterey and Ventura without any problems.

Thanks
