iPhone 13 Pro disconnect from Apple carplay

Hi,

I am having issues with Apple carplay disconnecting when I try to play music from any source.. it allows Waze to run fine but as soon as I hit music it disconnects.

have tried an older device using IOS 15 and it works fine, seems isolated to the iPhone 13.
