AX88179 Driver for MacOS 11.5

I can not activate AX88179 anymore after I have updated my mac to version 11.5 although On 11.4 Big Sur, everything was still be ok. I also check extensionsctl list on command prompt and it shows as follows:

enabled active teamID bundleID (version) name [state]

How should I deal with this problem to connect to Ethernet

I have the same problem too. My current macOS version is 11.5.1. AX88179 network adapter is activated but not working, says cable disconnected. LEDs are off

Same here!! It seems it's only related to Big Sur 11.5.1. https://plugable.com/blogs/news/new-asix-driver-fixes-macos-11-big-sur-ethernet

Same problem on macOS Monterey 12.0.

ASIX is absolutely incapable of keeping their DEXT driver working. It took them until August to get it working under Big Sur and now it's broken again.

I've already replaced my ASIX dongles. I just keep watching this because - like a good car wreck - you just can't look away.

There latest driver v2.4.0 (Release Date 2024-09-24). Work with my MBA M3 macOS 15 (Sequoia)
