After updating to tvOS15 Beta 3, Apple TV is not connecting to Airplay speakers anymore. Though, connecting HomePod minis are ok.
Anyone else noticed this?

tvOS 15 Beta 3 issues with Airplay speakers
With tvOS15 beta, my HomePod mini's stopped working as default audio output. They will connect but no sound. However, if I set default to TV output and select my HomePod mini stereo pair via the home button, they work fine.

Did you solve this? Recently I bought the apple TV 4K 2021 and I cannot set my pair of homepod minis as default audio. Even in the fact that I updated all my devices to OS15 :(. This is really annoying. (if I set the default audio tv speakers and connect de minis as temporary source, they work fine, but if I select them as default, no sound is coming and the volume bar is not working. Also I get the error that the process failed to connect to them and I don't get what I am doing wrong)
I have a Philips tv with 4K Dolby vision+ Belkin Ultra high speed HDMI 4K connected via HDMI ARC slot.

I dont know about the HomePod Mini because I don't have one but my AirPlay 1 speakers stopped working with tvOS 15.0. AirPlay 2 speakers seems to work but not AirPlay 1. If I manage to get an AirPlay 1 speaker to work temporarily the sound is out of sync. The problem persist with the latest beta.
