Will apps be able to be developed for Windows 11?

I saw online that metal is only compatible with Windows 10. I just joined the Apple development program to start building apps for the firs time but I don't see the point if my apps won't be compatible on all platforms. Does anyone know Apple's plans regarding Windows 11?

I just figured out how to edit posts. Sorry for the double submission.

Can you share where you saw Metal is compatible with Windows 10? I don't believe that is the case. If you are talking about the 'Metal Developer Tools for Windows', those tools allow you to compile Metal code on Windows 10, but you are not able to run that compiled code on Windows.

Yes, I'm talking about the developer tools under compatible it says windows 10. Sorry, if I confused anyone.

No problem! Considering Windows 11 was just announced a few days ago, I don't think there has been much discussion internally on Windows 11 support. Also, in general, we don't discuss our future support plans. However, I would suggest that you file this on Feedback Assistant so that the Metal team is aware of this request.
