Enterprise iOS Distribution Certificate and Provisioning Profile Expiring on same date

We have multiple In-House Apps deployed for our customer via Intune. However, now that we have our Enterprise iOS Distribution Certificate and Provisioning Profile Expiring on same date, very soon. I have below questions:
  1. What will happen to these In-House Apps already deployed into Production Environment post this expiry of both iOS Distribution Certificate and Provisioning Profiles of all apps?

  2. I realized, that we cannot renew iOS Distribution Cert, instead we can only create a new one. Now with this new Cert, do I need to renew all Provisioning Profiles?

  3. If yes, Do I need to re-sign all these Apps?

  4. We already have iOS Provisioning Profiles in place. So, can we just update the renewed Provisioning Profiles here?

  5. If re-distribution of these Apps is the only option, what you suggest since we cannot have the same app version deployed via Intune.

Instead, am planning to just upend the version- like from 1.1.2 to 1.1.2.0! if this is the only option then this doesn't look good, please suggest any better ideas :)
  1. If you don't do anything, they will stop working.
  2. I don't know if I'd call it renewing the profile or updating the profile, but you can click on the profile (in the apple developer web site), click edit, choose the new certificate, click save, and download the updated profile.

3 - 5. Sorry, I don't have any experience with commercial MDM products in general or Intune specifically. You may be able to just put the new profiles on the server and it will push them.
