Xcode 12.4 has no 14.3 simulator runtime

Hello guys,

After updating to Xcode 12.4, 14.3 simulator has been updated to 14.4, but now I can not download old 14.3 simulator. I can download the rest of 14.X simulators but not 14.3.

This bug happened last time when updating from Xcode 12.2 to 12.3 where 14.2 simulator also disappeared.

I need this version as all our testing/building is yet on 14.3 and it takes a couple of weeks to update everything.

Only solution I have right now is to download Xcode 12.3 again and keep using it until our systems are updated to new iOS version.

Is there a way to download a simulator run-time outside Xcode?

Hi Ivan,
I can also confirm that the 14.3 simulator runtime is missing from the downloadable runtimes area. My issue is that I need the latest WatchOS 7.3 simulator runtime which is also missing.

I suspect Apple will address this soon, but perhaps until then you can re-download Xcode 12.3? That should still have the 14.3 iOS runtime still available
