iOS 14.2 - Launches App for redirect urls

Did iOS 14.2 change the behavior for AppLinks. Where redirects & http links from Safari are now launching the app.

I've used Apple.com app to test, but can be reproduced for other apps that support AppLinks.

Set up this in Notes App:
https://www.apple.com/search/phones?src=globalnav
Use a URL+Shortner to shorten above link: is set up to redirect to above URL

Behavior until iOS 14.1:
https://www.apple.com/search/phones?src=globalnav - Clicking on this launches "Apple.com" ecommerce app.
Use a URL+Shortner to shorten above link- launches SAFARI and after redirect stays in SAFARI

Behavior 14.2:
https://www.apple.com/search/phones?src=globalnav - launches "Apple.com" ecommerce app.
Use a URL+Shortner to shorten above link - launches SAFARI and redirect to apple.com launches "Apple.com" ecommerce app.

This can be recreated on any device running iOS 14.2

I am also able to see that change in the 14.2 but not sure if apple rolled it out to support the UL for redirect urls. When you open the shortened url in safari, after resolving the url its launching the app.
