Safari Web Inspector missing Storage tab

The Storage and Network tabs have disappeared from Safari's Web Inspector tools. The only tabs I have are Elements, Timelines, Sources, Console, and Settings.

Safari 14.0.1, macOS 10.14.6, Mac Pro 5,1

Is there a way to get those tabs back? Especially the Storage tab.

Had the same problem. I think they just moved it. In the Inspector, Go to the Network tab, then click on the main document "<>" on the left list - then a sub tab menu will appear with a "Cookies" tab... then you can view the cookies/values that were requested/received.
Hello EricDu,

I'm sorry that the tabs have disappeared, not sure why that would be! They still exist for sure.

You can select which tabs are displayed by right-clicking on any part of the tab bar and checking or unchecking the listed tabs.

If this still doesn't work, please file a report at feedbackassistant.apple.com and we'll take a look promptly.

Thanks!

BJ

Hello,

I am having the same issues where I can only see the Source, Audit, and Console tabs. Tried to right click and only see Source, Audio and Console selection on the menu. This only happens when I click on Develop > iPhone to bring up Web Inspector. Not sure if anybody has a solution for this. I can't debug my iPhone or web apps at the moment. All other tabs like Network, Elements, Storage are gone. Not sure how to get these back.

Hello, I also have the same issue. I am on MacOS 11.4 on a 2020 MacBook M1.

I only have Sources, Audit and Console.

Hi, I have the same issue, only three tabs appearing Source, Audit, and Console

Any solution for this?

Same happens to me (MacOS 11.4 - iOS 14.6).

Only 3 tabs are visible. Sources shows no content and Console does not log.

The same for me, only 3 tabs Console, Sources and Audit are available when debugging from an iphone

Same here... just console, sources and audit tabs!

Download Safari Technology Preview

macOS 11.4, Safari 14.1.1, iPhone X, same issue.

Right-click (Control-click) on the title bar where Network, Console headers are shown. The Storage tab will be listed in the drop-down box. You have to select/check it.

I also have the same issue. - Only 3 Tabs are visible and there are not in the list to enable them.

What I have tried:

  • Debugging ionic app with webview
  • Switched to mobile safari and opened a random page --> still not visible
  • Restarted safari + mac
  • Connect and reconnect the phone
  • Even IOS Simulator has the same issue

Workaround that I found: You can download the Safari Technology Preview, where they available again.

Same problem here: only 3 tabs. In my case are Audit, Sources and Console. My MacOS location is set to PT-br.

Same problem here. Just those 3 tabs.

MacOS 11.4 (Macbook Pro 2018) and iOS 14.6 (iPhone 12 Pro)

Quickfix: Until a fix is released you might want to switch to "Safari Technology Preview".
