How to get FCP X working after updating to " Big Sur"

HI
I just updated to Big Sur and now final cut X does not open. Earlier I had updated to the latest Os and lost PS5 and Microsoft Office 11 (both those and a few more do not open)
I purchased this iMac second hand, on the basis of additional software and of course the iMac itself
After these updates it seems I am running into a big loss :(
I tried to copy these softwares from the iMac on to my MacBook Pro ( which is even older) but to no avail
How can I get at the least FCP X to work?
I am mid edit of my short film and a work project
All assistance will be appreciated.

Go to Applications and rRight click on final cut. "Show package contents". When open, go to contents/MacOs/final cut pro (terminal archive)
Doble click and FCP works

Didn't work for me... FCP 10.5 on Big Sur

I updated to Big Sur and also cannot open FCP. I read that it is not compatible with Big Sur and that I signed on with a different Apple ID. I only use one. The App Store won't let me update either.
