macOS Big Sur - macbook speaker sound breaking when I have my Xcode simulator on

I updated by macbook air to Big Sur.
Whenever I have my xcode simulator running or turned on, my macbook speaker sound breaks up.
If I turn off my simulator, the sound comes out fine.
Is this a known bug?

Solution:
  1. Open 'Activity Monitor' (Use spotlight or launchpad).

  2. Search 'coreaudiod' and double click it.

  3. Quit the 'coreaudiod'.

  4. It will work.

I have the same problem on my 16" MacBook Pro. It even happens sometimes to me when using the Preview feature in Xcode! 😖

Same Problem Here, I have a 13 inch 2020 Macbook Pro. It is really annoying. Hopefully a fix is coming soon!

I have same issue on my MacBook Pro 13, ever since I upgraded to MacOs BigSur. I think apple needs to work on this on their next update.
I have the same problem on my 2020 MacBook Pro 13. I don’t think its isolated to Big Sur. I have been experiencing problems since I got the Mac and was running Catalina. I have been commenting on my podcast all during the summer — since I got the new mac.
