I have a weird problem in SceneKit editor in Xcode 12. I select a regular .scn file, and the SceneKit editor appears. But if I select a node, the image gets completely corrupted, with black background and filled with graphic artifacts and coloured pixels... Totally unusable. Tried to restart Xcode and Mac. Help please!!!

I reported this problem last December in Xcode 11.3 (FB7488796) and it still isn't fixed. I've found you can get the random garbage to go away if you disable the Grid in the Display Options menu (tap the "eye" button in the lower right of the window).
