Photo Widget- No content available

My pictures aren’t showing up

I’m not sure how to fix it, it’s doing the same thing to me but I realized that it won’t show photos that you have favorited

So I finally figured it out. I always put my phone on airplane mode every night. So all I had to do was leave my phone

1. plugged into the charger

2. NOT in airplane mode

over night.

I figured out the problem but not the solution yet.

The widget shows photos from the “Featured” photos in the “For You” tab. The issue happens when the “Featured” photos folder disappears from there so there’s no content to show in the widget. When this happens you’ll only find “Memories” and “Suggested effects” but not “Featured” photos.

I started have this problem when I removed a picture I didn’t want to be displayed on the home screen from “Featured” then the widget started showing no content.

Maybe someone can figure out how to get “Featured” to appear again.

Hi i have “Featured” but my photos widget still says “no content available “

I just upgraded to a 12 pro max from an 11. The photo widget worked perfectly on the 11. Both phones running 14.6

any ideas?

I upgraded to an iPhone 12 too. I have the exact same issue. I don’t have a “For You” tab available at all, and a “no content available” on my photo widgets.

My photos widget not working says no available help!!

I was setting up my mom's new re-used phone and found the same error. To fix, I went to settings>photos and toggled the "Show Featured Content" to OFF. I then closed down the settings app and the photos app (swipe up to pull up all apps, then swiped the photo app up to close). Then I went back to my photos setting and toggled the "Show Feature Content" back ON. Once you click on the widget, it will hopefully turn back on. Good luck!
