Apple TV 4K won't connect

I have tried to connect my Apple TV 4K to Xcode, via wireless. I get to the point where I enter the six digit code displayed on the Apple TV, and then Xcode just redisplays the messages to Pair the TV. Any suggestions?

Hate to revive an old thread, but how exactly were you "doing it wrong"? I'm having the same problem when I try to build to my ATV 4K from Xcode over wifi, & it's really frustrating.

I have the problem that I can't pair my AppleTV 4K box in my Macbook Air with version 10.13.6 with the matching Xcode 10.1. It always appears "General failure pairing over the Network"

I am on the same network with both devices, but they still can't find each other.

What else can I do?
