Wifi not working on Mac Os Big sur update

After the beta update i did on MAC os Big sur my system does not connect to any Internet huge huge problem as cannot do anything with the Mac book air now
I recently updated to macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 and I faced the same challenge. The network data transfer rate dropped over Wifi. These are the following steps advised by Apple Support:

A. Reconfigure the DNS
steps:
  1. System Preferences

  2. Network

  3. WiFi

  4. Advanced

  5. DNS tab

  6. Add 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4

  7. Click OK then Apply

B. Adjust Packet Size
steps:
  1. System Preferences

  2. WiFi

  3. Advanced

  4. Hardware tab

  5. Configure location from automatic to manually

  6. MTU 1453

  7. Save/Apply

C. Change location and renew DHCP lease
steps:
  1. System Preferences

  2. Network

  3. WiFi

  4. Edit location Add location

  5. Advanced

  6. TCP/IP

  7. Renew DHCP lease

  8. Click OK then Apply

Found this post after months of struggling and following other suggestions online. Putting in a DNS address made my WiFi stable enough to download the Big Sur 11.3 update. Installed it and rebooted, removed the manual DNS entry and I've been online for 2+ hours now. Huge improvement! I think the bug got squashed for me.
