macOS Big Sur not installing

Hi.
Had the most recent public beta of macOS installed before my display broke. After I got the MacBook back from the store I am not able to install the beta any more.

Problem occurs after the following steps: enrolled for the public beta program, downloaded the current beta, install the beta, Mac turns off, Mac turns on again and I am back with Catalina as if nothing happened.

Anyone knows a workaround?

Thanks for your help!
I have the exact same issue. What’s even more crazy I also got mine back after changing screen.
Anyhow, I can’t be able to install it. And when I first try to enroll my MacBook I also get a message that this version does not exist when I first try to download the update.
Ok - there was one guy in the local Apple Store who told me that eventually Apple is allowing only one install per Serial Number. Unfortunately he couldn't confirm this or provide any help with it. Neither anyone else at Apple was able to reach so far.

Currently I hope, that next Beta (Public 3) is going to work again. Lets see ...
On my MacBook Pro 15 2018 year, the same problem, however, on MacBook 12, I reinstalled it several times, there were no problems. So it's not a serial number issue.
Still not able to update with the new beta out today. I think I will have to wait until the official version :(

Just curious if I will be able to install beta versions ever again ...
Try this solution:
Important - Both Macs must have the same version of MacOS

"T2 BridgeOS resolves the issue.

I shall note, however, that restoring T2 BridgeOS is delicate and risky procedure. I personally had no issues whatsoever, but I've read multiple reports of failed procedure resulting into bricked hardware. If anything goes wrong, it guarantees a trip to Apple service as there's no DIY solution available.

If that's your only or your main machine I strongly recommend waiting for subsequent build or even the GM where this issue will most likely be fixed by Apple.

This being said, detailed instructions on reviving or restoring the BridgeOS can be found here: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/apple-configurator-2/apdebea5be51/mac
