Big Sur update is causing menu bar flashing

After updating to Big Sur Beta 5 from Catalina, the menu bar kept flashing. What should I do to fix it?
  • If I reset SMC by pressing control+option+right-shift before starting my system, the menu bar will come to normal for only like half a day. Is this telling me the problem is relating to hardware? But catalina was very well then.

I had the same issue. It was resolved when I turned off (unchecked) Reduce Transparency. (System Preferences > Accessibility > Display > Reduce Transparency )

I'm not using dark mode.

It seems work, many thanks!
I just still don't understand why resetting SMC could also keep it away from flashing, at least for a while.
