MacOS Big Sur Beta 5 - stuck verifying start-up disk

I recently upgrade my 2019 16” MacBook Pro (A2141) to Big Sur beta 5 seemingly successfully, however when I boot up now...
  • I’m prompted to “Enter a password to unlock disk “Macintosh HD.”

  • Once I enter my password and hit “Unlock” Boot Recovery Assistant opens and tells me “An internet connection is required to verify the startup disk”.

  • I enter my WiFi network password, hit “Join” and then hit “Try Again” (to verify the startup disk).

My machine then restarts (without the start-up chime) and looks glitchy with multiple Apple start-up logos showing briefly, before being stuck in the loop of the above mentioned steps.l, as I try to boot-up

I have tried First Aid without any issues being discovered / repair required.

Any suggestions and / or similar issues with anyone?

I have this issue too. On a 2019 MacBook Pro
having the same problem, mbp 13” 2020
I solved my problem by booting to recovery mode, and choosing “Reinstall OS”, nothing was removed, only downside - it took about an hour to reinstall
I’ve just experienced this same issue on this week’s build. But there’s no option to connect to WiFi.
