When 'Always' permission was granted in iOS 13

Hi,

Regarding the new location accuracy feature, I'd like to ask for confirmation of the behavior when:
  • User has used the app in iOS 13, and already granted 'Always' permission.

When they upgrade to iOS 14, will they:
  • Default to sharing 'full precision'?

  • See a popup asking permission to share location data again, allowing them to see the new precision option?

  • See the new location accuracy Allow Once/Don't Allow popup?

A major reason why I want to ask for confirmation is that this is difficult to test without doing an OS upgrade on a new device for each test, and I'd really like to understand the impact of this addition on existing users.

Thank you!

Apps that were previously authorized on iOS 13, when the user upgrades to iOS 14, will have precise locations turned on by default.

The users will continue to get the location authorization popup, and on iOS 14, this will also have the precision prompt, and the app will be delivered either precise or approximate locations depending on the user's choice.
