Can I connect my iPhone device to Xcode without first making a USB connection?

So, I recently upgraded to mac pro 2020 and it has only usb-c ports.
Now, I'm looking for a way to connect my iphone to the xcode for work. I've ordered a usb - c hub adapter and it's on the way but is there any way to get the iphone paired with xcode over wifi.
Or can I import the settings/metadata from my old mac which shows the devices connected?
I have a Macbook Pro with USB-C only.
I just bought a USB-C to USB adapter and connect the iPhone through this.

Doesn't it work for you ?
