failed to run ios 14 on MacBook air 2017

Hllo,

I installed Xcode 12 on my iMac. No problem to execute iOS 14 with any device simulators.
I did the same on my MacBookAir: Problem: the device simulators do not boot on iOS 14. I get the Apple logo on screen forever.

Ant idea to solve that issue ?

Did you reboot the MacBookAir ? Try to do so.

Yes I did. Rebooted several times. iOS 13.5 simulator boots quite well but iOS 14 simulator always fails to boot.
I reinstalled Xcode from scratch, same issue. All works fine on my iMac which is much older.

I have the same issue but inverted. simulator 14 is booting within 30 seconds but 13.5 stucks on apple logo. I have tried everything like reboot MacBookAir or reboot the xcode or reboot the simulator.
