I had a random app crash this morning (iTubeDownloader) while downloading a file from YouTube. I glanced at the crash report and was about to send it to Apple when I saw the line "SIP Protection Disabled".
Slightly alarmed, I fired up Terminal, typed "csrutil status" and got this:
System Integrity Protection status: unknown (Custom Configuration).
Configuration:
Apple Internal: disabled
Kext Signing: disabled
Filesystem Protections: disabled
Debugging Restrictions: disabled
DTrace Restrictions: disabled
NVRAM Protections: disabled
BaseSystem Verification: disabled
This is an unsupported configuration, likely to break in the future and leave your machine in an unknown state.
Now I'm definitely alarmed! SIP seems to have completely disappeared for me, and I'm 'kinda missing the little guy. Hoping he comes back with Beta 4. Has anyone else seen this?
