Invoking a dev/debug AppClip via URL

Has anyone found a way to invoke a dev/debug AppClip via URL? Ie. while I'm developing an app clip I want to test/demonstrate the behaviour when tapping an URL banner or an NFC tag, before the app clip-enabled version has been uploaded to the App Store.
