Anyone experiencing issues with IOS 14 and wifi connectivity?
IOS 14 WiFi
WIFI has been terrible on 14.xx, sure hope Apple does something soon.
Same problem on iPhone 7 model: MNAY2LL/A. Recently updated to IOS 14.1 (18A8395). Now WIFI Auto disconnects when phone goes to sleep and doesn't connect automatically. everytime i have to manually reconnect WIFI.
iPhone 8 Plus keeps losing wifi... I have to into settings and expand wifi to the last screen... After sever seconds, it will reconnect... Happens continuously whether I stay logged on to the phone or not...
Same issue here. IOS14 was a slight noticeable connection issue then by the time 14.1 came along the wifi symbol constantly flickers up and down. All other devices are reaching max speeds on downloads some on iOS14 and other on IOS13 . My iPhone XS barely can hold a connection anymore
Geezy Pete, I have been fussing at my carrier about this. Of course it's Apple. None of my iOS devices can connect to the internet following this update to 14.1 unless tethered to a hotspot and it will still drop intermittently and I have to manually connect to it every time. This is a complete nightmare Apple. FIX THIS NOW!!!! I have been going back and forth with my carrier to learn is the device software. If I didn't see the forum here I would continued to blame them for poor service when it's your firmware or software update that is complete jacked up.
Seriously considering going back to an Android if it take this long to resolve a wide spread issue, meanwhile I still have to pay full price for these devices!!! I am one unsatisfied customer.

I too am glad I checked here. I wasn't sure if was hardware related. I just upgraded to iPhone 12 Friday. My "old" iPhone 11 was running iOS 14.1 but didn't seem to have the issues I'm seeing with the new phone, also running iOS 14.1 naturally. Hello, Apple... we have a problem!
I've had this issue on my iPhone SE (2020) since installing IOS 14. No issues on IOS 13, then suddenly poor wifi signal and so frequent disconnections that in some areas I use an iPod instead. The iPod has no issues. No discernible difference when installing 14.0.1. I'm considering trying to downgrade to IOS 13 until this has been resolved.
Yes, same issue with WIFI since the last iOS update. I've had this issue on my iPhone SE (2020) since installing IOS 14. (the phone says IOS 14.0.1 is also installed.) No issues with IOS 13, then suddenly poor WIFI signal and frequent disconnections or no-ping error messages. I'm frequently checking for a new update to fix this bug, but I continuously get an 'unable to connect' error even while checking for the update. It seems I need to be on wifi to check for, or get a system update when available for this bug, but the wifi is now too unstable to do that. Quite the conundrum.
my iphone SE(2020) updated itself, since the ios 14 and the latest update, my phones wifi and mobile data wont work (which is a bit difficult when its needed for work)
i keep checking for new updates that will hopefully fix the problem but i keep getting an error code. wouldn't recommend updating if you can help it.

I am having same issue. I have an iPhone XR and just updated to the most recent version of iOS 14. Now even though my phone says it’s connected to WiFi I have absolutely no internet connection. My fiancée has the same iPhone XR but has not updated and she is having no problem running the same wife and using the internet. Apple please help!
Found this hack... and it appears to work. Give it a try!
Open the Settings app, then go to “Wi-Fi”
Find the wi-fi network you’re connected to, then tap the “I” button next to the network name
Tap on “Forget This Network”
Exit out of Settings
Turn on AirPlane Mode by pulling down Control Center and tapping the AirPlane icon (or by activating it from Settings), leave it on for a few seconds, then turn AirPlane mode back off again
Return to the Settings app and go back to “Wi-Fi”
Re-join the wireless network you were previously connected to.

Since the update to iOS14 some websites do not load with my wifi. I then have to turn off wifi to load the site with my cellular connection. These problems obviously occured with iOS14, no problems under iOS13.
I am getting this sometimes in my house.
I think is caused by interference with another devices (bluetooth JBL and wifi's computer)
Trick to everybody: When you get this problem, try to disconnect all the other devices (bluetooth and wifi), and try to connect the iPhone to the router again with all other the devices turned off!
Answer if works!

I’m having the most trouble I’ve ever had with connections since the 14 update. But since 14.1 it’s even worse. Sending imessages takes a very long time. Add a picture or video, it’s even longer. I’ve reset my routers, reset settings and restarted my phone and still problems. It also happens when I’m at someone else’s house on a different router. Which we did a reset on as well. I decided to google the issue and I see a lot of others are having the same problems. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. I’ve never had so many issues.
Okay am back again, turns out my VPN app was interfering with my Wi-Fi connectivity. All I had to do was uninstall/delete the app and voilà, everything was back to normal
