Fantastic new feature, and have already thought of a new app I would love to implement using geo location, will it be possible in the near future for a developer to create a new location.
During the presentation some major US cities were mentioned. But what about small villages across Europe. I am based in a small town in England and would love to create a geolocation in the town in multiple locations like a virtual scavenger hunt. This new feature is a game changer but only for developers in big cities.
It was mentioned that the location uses different data sets from apple maps, is there any way we could map a specific location using the lidar sensor on the iPad Pro, or something like that and then compile it with apple maps to create small pockets of locations in small towns that would otherwise have to wait years.
