Big Sur install error

Big Sur starts it's installation and gets to about 27-28 minutes remaining and gives me the error "An error occured applying the software update". When I click ok i just get a black grey screen that does nothing.

Any suggestions out there?

Here as well. I am running this from an external drive. Beta 1 and 2 had no issues. Anyone have a work around for 3?

Same here, the issue is present with 11.0.1 as well. So far no solution found and the mac is stuck.

Hello guys i have the same issues, some one of you could indicate the folder where big sur download the 11.1 beta 2 app so i would install it manually.
