How many touches are supported on iPad Pro?

The iPhone supports 5 simultaneous touches, and cancels them all on the 6th touch.

Current iPad models (through Air 2) support 11 simultaneous touches, and do nothing on a 12th touch.

What will the iPad Pro support? With such a big screen, will it maybe support two sets of hands at the same time? Still only 11 touches? If there an official document that lists this info?

My app uses the max # of touches to allocate drawing buffers and audio voices. I'm hoping to start updating what's necessary before November when the hardware is released, and the Simulator doesn't help.

Anything? Is this a big secret until launch or something?

Undocumented things are subject to change and revision. That's part of why they're undocumented.

If you're hard coding maximums based on hardware choices, you're creating maintenance problems for your application in the future; and you'd be much better off writing code that can adjust to more or fewer touches.

17. The max number of touches on an iPad Pro is 17. It does not cancel the touches on the 18th touch.

when apple will fix the maximum 5 touch in the same time ? We need more we are playing games and we are pro players playing 5 fingers .. is this a software problem ?
