Apple Pay through Authorize.net on Shopify

Hello everyone,

Has anyone here dealt with Apple Pay using Authorize.net on Shopify? Hoping someone has gone through a similar experience & can help out here.

I'm trying to get Apple Pay working on Shopify (the payment processor is Authorize.net). The option to use Apple Pay shows up at checkout, but when selected, it just doesn't seem to work. The people at both Authorize.net and Shopify point me in circles.

If you've successfully got this to work, please let me know how you were able to solve.

Thank you!

Hey, did you figure this out? I have a shopify store and also use authorize net and trying to do the set up is a nightmare. I'm still trying to find this well-known folder to verify my domain!

Hello, did you ever figure this out? Having the same issue...

Did anyone find resolution on this?

I have created the Merchant ID in the developer panel. I added that to Authorize.net. for some reason, apple doesnt like the file that i upload back into apple for the CSR. and it also wants me to verify the domain by uploading a file to a particular directory. Shopify doesnt want to allow this though. I tried to fool the system by uploading the file to a drive and sharing the link. then using URL forwarding in the store to go to the file. apple didnt like that either. Im struggling to figure this out.

any help would be appreciate!

any help here from those of you who have had this issue? We are stuck in the same loop of non helpful pages, verification requests that we cannot access as were using shopify. any help would be appreciated

Having the same issue. Being sent in loops between Shopify and Authorize.net. Anyone figured out a fix?

Just gonna drop this here for anyone still trying to solve this: I have spent quite a bit of time with Authorize.net and Shopify trying to resolve this. Both parties naturally want to point the finger at each other. But I was finally able to distill it down to the fact that Shopify simply doesn't support setting up Apple Pay this way. First, they don't support uploading files to the server in the way Apple requires for Domain Verification. And nobody has any clue what is supposed to happen with the Payment Processing Certificate. Everyone just points to everyone else. But Shopify did finally admit that the only way you can verify your domain is via DNS. Naturally, Apple doesnt offer this option. So it's effectively impossible. Shopify claims they will elevate the case and try to add the feature, but they also shared this forum post with me, which is five years old. So Im not convinced they're going to add the ability to domain verify. Basically, I've learned I've made a mistake switching to Shopify.
