How to handle distributed app from Certificate Expiration?

Our business apps distributed using Enterprise Distribution and installed it succesfully via MDM.

Now the distributed certificate and membership are going to expire soon and so that we renewed the membership and validity extended for one year. But for certificate what should we need to do so that all apps will not going stop working.

Should we need to distribute all the apps again with creating a new certificate and provisioning profile before expiration? or need to revoke the previous certificate and create a new one?

So what is required to do for this situation ?

Please suggest.

Don't revoke the old certificate, or you apps will immediately stop working. You can have 2 distribution certificates. Create a new distribution certificate, update the distribution profile to use that new certificate, then rebuild the apps using the new profile and certificate. When the old certificate expires, I think it will be removed automatically. When your new certficate expires in 3 years, repeat the process.

Edit: Is your certificate expiring, or the distribution profile? Certificates are good for 3 years, profiles for one year. If it is the profile that is expiring, you can edit it and click Save (without changing anything) and it will be renewed for another year. Rebuild the app with the updated profile.
